Bryrup Camping offers the perfect setting for an active holiday in scenic surroundings near Silkeborg - with forests and lakes just outside our campsite. Experience the peaceful atmosphere, where the days can start with a fresh morning dip in the nearby lake and end with cozy barbecue evenings under the starry sky.

Bryrup Camping is among the elite when it comes to a campsite in Denmark. With 4,5 stars, you are assured that the quality at Bryrup Camping is top notch and that your holiday will be a success. Our campsite boasts good facilities, including playgrounds for the children and direct access to various nature trails that invite walking and cycling.

Charming terraces on 3 levels

At Bryrup Camping, our campsite offers a unique layout in several levels and terraces. You have the option of choosing a unit with us on one of the charming terraces with a view over our entire campsite. On the terraces you can lie almost completely undisturbed. You have no shelter, but rather a beautiful view.

Regardless of your preferences, we are sure to have a place for you; you can choose between different types of seats: black, green, red and blue. If you are traveling with a larger group or just prefer more open space around you, you can choose one of the spacious comfort seats where there is plenty of space around you.

The campsite is manageable, even for the little ones. It is safe and secure for even the smallest children to walk around the square. This relaxed and friendly atmosphere makes the campsite the perfect choice for families looking for a carefree holiday.

Bryrup Camping has 250 landscaped units on our campsite.

On the terraces you get a fantastic view of the landscape, and here there is also a bit more peace and quiet than in the rest of the campsite. In the early and late seasons, you can experience that there is more shade than below the terraces.

If you want a little more life, to be closer to the facility buildings, or to the playground and water park, you can choose one of the places below the terraces.

No matter where on our campsite you choose to be, nothing is far away at Bryrup Camping.

You can choose between four different campsite types:

StandardPitch: Standard pitch of 80-100 m2.

Standard +Pitch: "Better" standard pitch (location, size) of 80-140 m2.

SuperPitch: "Good and desirable" pitch in a good location, or viewing space of 100-150 m2.

ComfortPitch: Like Super Pitch, but with water and drainage connection. 100-130 m2.

IMPORTANT: The caravan must be placed in the light green field on the square.

Activities

At our campsite, there are plenty of activities throughout the year, the majority of which are of course during the summer holidays and mainly aimed at children. Our dynamic programs include magic shows, horse riding in the scenic surroundings, fun and games in the bouncy castle indoors, sno bread baked over an open fire, as well as creative workshops with the Dribbling King, where the imagination can run free.

But it doesn't stop here; even outside the summer season, we keep the energy high at the campsite. In addition, there are also activities for the adults, we have previously held rum, gin, beer and wine tastings, pleasant evenings with live music on the barbecue terrace, themed parties such as American weekend and energy-filled MTB tours through the local area. These activities provide a perfect opportunity to relax and socialize while the kids can also enjoy their own adventures.

Our aim at our campsite is to ensure that there is something for everyone, regardless of age or interest. To keep everyone updated on the latest events and activities, we encourage guests to use the guest app, where you can find information about events. Close to the Krøier-Kvist family

From February 2020, we, Sidse, Jens Kristian and the boys Karl and Elliot, have been your hosts and the owners of Bryrup Camping. In November 2021, little Vilde also joined the family – a REAL native campsite child.

We are originally from Vestbjerg in North Jutland.

Sidse has a background with many years of experience in the hotel industry, and Jens Kristian with a solid background in holiday rental. We come with fresh eyes on Bryrup Camping, and on the entire camping industry, but at the same time we are extremely humble in relation to the fact that it is a profession in which we do not yet have much experience.

Our boy, Karl, was born in 2014 and loves wild play, rocks and big sticks. Elliot, who is from 2016, is very fascinated by everything that big brother does and likes. In addition, they love dinosaurs. Karl is most fascinated by the dangerous carnivores, while the longnecks have a big star with Elliot.

In November 2021, little Vilde was born, and her favorite pastime is chasing the cats and pulling them by the tail. She is often around the square to greet all the guests' dogs - and if Mum or Dad aren't fast enough, she sometimes runs off herself to go on an adventure between the carriages.

The family also includes the three mouse hunters, Nala, Steven and Bulder, who must keep the awnings free of mice in the autumn. The cats are of course wary of the guests' dogs, but this is managed with a simple hiss and a high back every now and then.

Together, we look forward to doing our utmost to ensure that you have a fantastic holiday at Bryrup Camping. Our goal is to create the best environment for you to take home fantastic holiday memories, and for you to have the opportunity to enjoy and use nature, experience the area and the area's attractions, or just relax completely and recharge your batteries.

  • How to choose the right type of campsite?

    When choosing a campsite, consider your needs such as pitch size, required facilities, what activities you would like and how close you want to be to nature and big cities. At Bryrup Camping you can look forward to a wealth of experiences, sights and natural areas nearby. In addition, we have a number of different pitches that vary in size and location.

  • Is it safe for children to play freely on campsites?

    Many campsites are designed with children's safety in mind and offer safe play areas and have clear rules to ensure a safe environment. However, it is always good to keep an eye on younger children. At Bryrup Camping, we focus on safety and have safe play areas as well as clear and safe areas where children can play and explore.

  • Can you bring your own equipment to campsites?

    Yes, most campsites, including Bryrup Camping, allow guests to bring their own camping equipment. This includes a tent, caravan, motorhome, as well as personal items such as sleeping bags and camping furniture. At Bryrup Camping, you are encouraged to bring equipment that suits the site's facilities and size, to ensure a pleasant experience for everyone.

  • Can you go on a camping holiday if you don't have a tent or caravan?

    Yes, you can easily do that. At Bryrup Camping, we offer rental of camping cabins, camping tents and caravans, so you can safely enjoy your camping holiday without emptying your wallet on a caravan. We offer a wide range of options that you can book here.
